The Division of Child Care has shared the attached resources from KET on Raising Readers in Kentucky and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is now available in every Kentucky community, giving all children from birth to age five the chance to receive a free book in the mail each month.

KET Education has developed engaging activity sheets aligned with the books children receive from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, these resources offer simple reading strategies that encourage parents and caregivers to engage with their children in discussions about the stories. They aim to boost vocabulary and comprehension in fun and meaningful ways.
