Child Care Aware of Kentucky hosts online courses through the HDI Online Learning Center. There are three types of courses: Informational Sessions, Early Childhood, and Adult Learning.
Informational Sessions – No Hours Awarded
ECE 020: Requirements for Reopening Child Care in Kentucky
This course will review the requirements for child care to reopen in June 2020, including:
- the current regulations on healthy and clean environments,
- the new enhanced regulations for childcare programs open during the COVID19 state of emergency, and
- a refresher course on mandatory reporting of child abuse.
This course should take 30 minutes to complete. All program staff must complete before the program re-opens.

This brief introduction to the Kentucky All STARS standards is a required training in order to be eligible to receive quality incentives in the ALL STARS quality rating and improvement system.

Child Care Assistance Program: Billing Basics for Providers
This online course provides an overview of the billing process for the Child Care Assistance Program including information on completing the DCC 94E (Daily Attendance Sheet). Emphasis will be on completing the provider billing form and reviewing the necessary requirements of the billing process.
