Early Intervention Contacts in KY
Kentucky Early Intervention System (formerly referred to as First Steps) is a statewide early intervention system that provides services to children with developmental disabilities from birth to age 3 and their families.
Public Preschool
Kentucky’s public preschool education programs are available for all four-year-old children whose family income is no more than 160% of poverty; all three and four-year old children with developmental delays and disabilities, regardless of income; and other four-year old children as placements are available based on district decision. Contact your local school district for more information.
