This active session gives research-based strategies to make your trainings more engaging and memorable for early care and education staff. You’ll explore techniques that strengthen adult learner participation and support retention, with an emphasis on helping adults more effectively apply what they learn back in their workplaces. During the session, you’ll also create a personalized training activity that aligns with your own content and facilitation style. 

By the end of the session, you’ll be able to identify key engagement strategies, understand how themes or novelty can enhance learning, and select at least one new strategy to use in your upcoming training.
