In April 2025, the Kentucky Division of Child Care (DCC or Lead Agency) hosted a federal Monitoring Team from the Office of Child Care. During that visit, “…the Monitoring Team did not find evidence that the Lead Agency is posting full monitoring and inspection reports for the 3 licensed provider types and found evidence that not all Plan of Correction Reports are posted for all licensed providers….”
Necessary changes have been made to the Kentucky Integrated Child Care System (KICCS). Now, full monitoring and inspection reports are available on the Child Care Provider Search on kynect. The update to the Child Care Provider Search Tool improves consumer education and clearly demonstrates that the Plans of Correction were observed, implemented, and cleared for each citation.
